Free Valentine :)

Hi,

because of Valentines Day, a holy day of all lovers and stuff, i’d like to share last minute valentine with You “)

Those hearts are inspired by Polish folk art, especially Vytynanky (i think you can pronounce it like that). According to Wikipedia, there is no English name for that, but i think its safe to call it cut-outs. All You do in creating process is cutting out some shapes.

The whole trick is to make a piece of colored paper into several parts, and then trim the edges (with the napkins in a result), or cut some shapes decorated in the same way.

It is really nice fun.

Then put it to the computer, ad some curves, colors, textures, saturation, shade balances, and there you go - out with something like this:)

I just love to do things like that, and i decided to share it with you:)
